Welcome to the Powerly Developer Portal

This portal provides access to Powerly’s API, enabling developers to integrate EV charging capabilities into their applications. To start using the API, you must register for an API key and agree to the API Terms of Use.

1. Getting Started

1.1 Register for an API Key

To access the Powerly API, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Powerly app on Android or iOS.
  2. Create an account or sign in to your existing account.
  3. Go to Powerly API Portal.
  4. In the Powerly dashboard, navigate to Tools → Developer Tools → API.
  5. Click on Generate New API Key.
  6. Your API key will be available in your account.

1.2 API Subscription Plans

Developers can subscribe to an API plan from the Powerly dashboard:

  1. Visit Powerly Developer API.
  2. Click on Subscription.
  3. Choose a plan and subscribe. Prices are listed within each plan.

2. API Access Plans

Powerly offers different API plans to meet various development needs:

  • Free Plan – Limited to 1,000 requests per month, access to basic API endpoints.
  • Pro Plan – 50,000 requests per month, priority support, access to analytics and advanced endpoints.
  • Enterprise Plan – Unlimited requests, custom integrations, dedicated support, and advanced AI-powered features.

3. API Usage Policies

To ensure fair and secure usage, developers must adhere to the following policies:

  • Rate Limits: API calls are subject to limits to maintain system stability.
  • Security Compliance: All API requests must use secure authentication methods.
  • Prohibited Uses: The API cannot be used to create competing EV charging networks.
  • Data Privacy: Developers must comply with data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.

Failure to comply may result in API access being revoked.
